On study excursions round Slovenia participants of World of Art get familiar with the art scene, it’s protagonists, art production and operation of the art system, what offers potential for further researches and cooperations.

16.30: departure from Metelkova 6
18.00: Presentation of the Hiša kulture (history, programs, concept) by Mojca Grmek, Tanja Milharčič and Leon Zuodar.
19.00: Preview of the exhibition: Vesna Bukovec: In če se motim? / And if I am wrong? with the guided tour by the artist and the curator Mojca Grmek.

10.00–14.00: Rene Rusjan and Boštjan Potokar, founders and heads of School of Arts (University of Nova Gorica, Gorica): presentation of the history and program; studio visits with students (Palazzo Alvarez, Via Armando Diaz 5, Gorizia)
14.00–15.30: lunch
15.30–19.00: Mateja Zorn and Nadja Velušček: presentation of the history, projects etc. of Kino atelje (Piazza della Vittoria / Travnik 38, Gorizia)
18.00–: Opening of the students’ semester exhibition at School of Art (Palazzo Alvarez, Via Armando Diaz 5, Gorizia)

9.30 am: departure from Metelkova 6
11.00 am–1.00 pm: Maja Antončič, curator: presentation of Center for Contemporary Arts: Gallery of Contemporary Art and Likovni salon Gallery (Trg celjskih knezov 8) and a guided tour of exhibition: Vidno/nevidno. Afekt in razpoloženje skozi fotografijo (Gallery of Contemporary Art).
1.00–2.30 pm: lunch
2.30 – 4.30: Maja Antončič: presentation of art quarter, studio visits and conversations with artist and a presentation of the AQ Gallery (Na okopih 2c).
4.30 pm: Matija Plevnik: presentation of Plevnik-Kronkowska Gallery (Ulica Kozjanskega odreda 5).
7 pm: opening of the exhibition Out in the Open in the Likovni salon Gallery, guided tour (Ida Hiršenfelder, curator of the exhibition).
