Head of the library Katja Kranjc will present her work as a librarian in a specialised library in the field of culture, ways of acquiring new library materials, international catalogue exchange between museums, placing and signature system of the library, accessibility of free or remote materials, formal and content processing of library materials and cataloguing in the shared database COBIB. Due to the nature of special libraries a special focus will be put on detailed content processing of library materials, for which a controlled glossary of key words in the field of modern and contemporary art was set up at the MG+MSUM library, which is then integrated in cataloguing for COBIB database. This provides quality processed materials and good service to library users.
